A scarf for my aunt

Note from Heather:  My aunt and I saw a sample of this scarf at a knitting store.  The colors are definitely my aunt's colors.  I told her if she purchased the yarn, I'd knit the scarf.  I finished the 17,516 stitches in less than 3 weeks.

Slippers for Lydia

Note from Heather:  I made Lydia's sister Charlotte green and blue slippers.  I asked Lydia if she would like a pair and she immediately said yes.  I let her pick her colors and she let me knit them however I wanted.  She thinks they are awesome.

Shamrock baby hat

Ilene and Irene

Note from Heather:  Kristin knit Ilene the Hamsterbean - she is grey.  Addison wanted a hamsterbean of her own since I wouldn't share Ilene.  Today I finished knitting Ilene's little sister Irene.

Little Brown Bag Lunchbag

Note from Heather: This felted lunchbag is small.  It would work for a few small snacks.

Ribs and Ruffle Scarf

Note from Heather:  My family went on an overnight road trip.  The first of 4 knitting stores that we stopped at was in Iowa City and called The Kniting Shoppe.  When I was in labor with Addison, I was knitting a baby sweater for her.  The nurse told me her sister-in-law owned a shop in Iowa City.  4 years later, we visited the shop.  I purchased the skein of yarn and received the free pattern.  The store owner put it in a page protector so I could start knitting it right away in the van and in the hotel.  It was like she knew me!  I did knit the scarf right away.  I had a hard time putting it down.  It was finished by the time we came home the next day.

Pink Shopping Bag

Note from Heather:  I'm trying to use up my yarn stash.  Or at least make a dent in the stash this year.  I had 2 skeins of this pink yarn and found the bag pattern (Mineco) on Ravelry.
