Note from Heather: I made the hat with the earflaps for my nephew. I was thrilled when he texted me and asked if I could make him something. He gave me 3 weeks notice before Halloween that he'd like it for his costume but that he'd understand if I couldn't get it done in time. I was on a mission and sent it to him well ahead of time. I then made a hat for Shad's uncle as I didn't want him to get jealous. He was thrilled to get it and he wears it in public!
