Orange Socks

Note from Janet: They are finally done!! I got this sock yarn on vacation almost 2 yrs ago and finally knit it this winter. I am definitely not a sock knitter! I am strangely attracted to sock yarn and think they look fun, but I do not enjoy making them! I really mean that I don't like doing the ones on tiny needles, but I've made worsted weight socks and felted slipper socks without so much drama! This is my second pair of "tiny needle" (#1-3) socks. Maybe I can handle making one pair a year. I do have yarn in my stash for one more pair...

Flat Feet Socks

Note from Janet: I got this yarn a while ago for my birthday and knit them up pretty quickly, but for some reason didn't start wearing them right away... maybe I finished them in the spring or summer? Anyway, these are now my favorite socks to keep my feet warm! I don't like knitting on tiny needles (I call them toothpicks) but these were done on a #3, so not bad for socks, and I do love small projects and knitting in a circle. I think there will be more flat feet socks in my future!

A Mallard and A Sherbert pair of slipper socks

Note from Janet: Here are my 2nd pair of slipper socks that I made w/ leftover yarn. They're not the cutest thing I've ever made! On the pic that I'm not wearing them, the bottom one reminds me of Baskin Robbins rainbow sherbet - raspberry, orange and pineapple. The top one looks like a mallard duck! At first I thought pumpkin w/ the orange and green, but as soon as I looked at the pic I took, it's a duck!

Note from Heather:  I hope Santa brings Janet some felting yarn for Christmas.

Red Socks

Note from Janet:  A story for the red socks... shortly after that, I made royal blue ones w/ the same yarn and Luke likes to wear one red and one blue.
